Native of Crete, Georgia Priniotakis (Kalas) has been an active artist since 1984, creating paintings of realistic nature. Drawn towards the arts since childhood, Georgia has worked with different media such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, soft pastel and ink.
Vibrancy and transparency are depicted in the seasonal changes of her landscapes, flowering gardens and tranquil patios.
Georgia is a signature member of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada and a founder member of the Artists’ Association of Saint-Laurent.
She has participated in group exhibitions and has won numerous awards and distinctions for her paintings the latest been, "Artists choice” award in the annual Mont-Royal Cemetery Art exhibition in 2008,
and an “Honorary mention” in “Concours d’Art de Pierrefonds-Roxboro” art contest in 2011.
Georgia, is accepted to participate in “Artists in Residence Program”, for three months this summer in Coaticook, Québec.
She is listed in, the Magazine d’Art, “Biennial guide to Canadian Artists in galleries”,
the “Lexicon” of Greek Artists vol. #2, the “Le Pluralisme dans L’Art au Québec”, and the “International Contemporary Artistes” Vol. IV.
Georgia has been an active participant in the Shield of Athena art auction for the past twenty years.

Attirée vers les arts depuis l’enfance, Georgia est une peintre réaliste, avide du ‘plein air’, et travaille tous genres de médiums. Connue pour sa brillante utilisation des couleurs, ses expressions sont exubérantes aussi bien sur papier que sur toile.
Lauréate de plusieurs prix, Georgia participe aux expositions par jury en groupe et en solo. Ses peintures figurent dans des collections privées et publiques autour du globe. Inscrite au ‘Lexicon des Artistes Grecques’, au ‘Le Pluralisme dans l’Art au Québec’ ainsi qu’au ‘Magazine’Art Biennal’, Georgia est membre à l’AAD, à l’association des Artistes de St-Laurent, et membre de distinction de la Société de Pastel de l’Est du Canada.
